Sarah Kivel

FOUNDER & BOARD PRESIDENT

Sarah believes that understanding emotions and how they affect performance and relationships is key to leadership on and off the field. These emotional intelligence skills build confidence, grit and teamwork. It’s what kept her playing and staying in sports throughout her life.

Sarah fell in love with sports at 5 years old when she started skiing. From track to baseball to windsurfing, she loved to play. It was on the tennis court and soccer field that she found her true passions. Sarah went on to play soccer at the University of California, Davis. In recent years, she competed in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and has become passionate about backcountry skiing. She also loves watching her kids compete and thrive in their own sports

Sarah is a Leadership and Performance Executive Coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sarah works with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and leaders in healthcare from all over the world on emotional intelligence coaching and focus training. She is also a Goleman ei Meta Coach and former faculty member as well as a Lapin International Lead By Greatness Coach. She received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and her Professional Coaching Certification from the University of California, Davis. She is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.  Sarah is a University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, 2025 MBA candidate.

She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a 500 hour yoga teacher. 

Peak Performance Training for Coaches and Athletes

Founder Sarah Kivel had the honor of spending a few days at The Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs working with coaches and athletes on Peak Performance Training.
